The labour-sending area of Kwazakhele in the Eastern Cape just outside Port Elizabeth received a gift of 50 trees from Russell and Associates on 8 May 2009.
Russell and Associates lent a helping hand to the Forest Town Primary School when the company donated much needed kitchen appliances. Russell and Associates discovered the plight of the school through an appeal in the Forest Town suburb and decided to assist.
It was rewarding and uplifting to see the excitement on the faces of the pupils of Saxonwold Primary School, when they received a donation of new sporting equipment in 2009.
In December 2009 and 2010 Russell and Associates contributed 40 shoeboxes, filed with toiletries, school stationery, sweets, clothing, and toys, to the Shoebox Project.
Russell and Associates is very pleased to have sponsored talented young Tshepo Dikale, a member of the Black Tie Ensemble’s (BTE) Incubator Scheme in 2009. The Black Tie Ensemble is a South African opera company founded with the intention of preserving and extending operatic tradition.
The Music for the Children Foundation is another organisation that has benefited from Russell and Associates' staffers generosity.
